TOWN SQUARE
Last week I went to Town Square with Scott and Hannah. We shopped a bit and got some yogurt. I've been wanting to check out their little playground since it looked so cute the last time we were there. Scott loved it! We played in the hedge maze for awhile and on some of the other toys but he was really curious about the water! We didn't have his swim suit and he was fine with just watching until he leaned up against this ladies leg and just stayed there and watched.
She held his hand and led him to the water. Scott has no trouble making friends.
This is what happens when you have to leave the little playground. He did NOT want to go!! He was so sad and cried the whole way home (which isn't like him.) We'll be heading back that way... for sure!

6. Never ask him if you like me if you don't know him.
7. Make sure he is smart.
8. Make sure he doesn't do bad things with his friends.
9. Make sure he is nice to you.
10. Hang around him and see if he is funny or cool or awesome.
11. You can check him out and start to hang out with him.
Look on the back
Make sure you are fresh and have cleaned your braces.
You can't be afraid to ask him... Do you like me and if he says that he does then you say because I like you.

Mommy works hard too!!!
Tonight at dinner we had this conversation-
Madison: "I wish I had Karley's homework, it's so easy."
Me: "Yeah, but when you were Karley's age you thought it was hard. When you're in 8th grade you'll be wishing you were still doing sixth grade work."
Madison: "Ummm, maybe."
Me: "Every year your homework is going to be a bit harder so that you'll learn new things and get even more smart. And when you don't know something and you have to try really hard to figure it out, that's good for your brain."
Madison: "Oh."
Me: "Like Dad at work, every day he has to solve problems and figure out ways to make things work how they are supposed to. That's really good for him."
Madison: "Oh, and you, when you have to figure out, hmmm, how can I take Scott to McDonald's today???"
Every one got a good laugh from that one! That girl is SO sassy!
So that's what she thinks I do all day, hmmm. Well I've got news for her. Because sometimes I take Scott to the park or to the mall to see the clown and other days I take him to the library for story-time or maybe even to the water park and if he's really lucky I take Scott to his favorite place, the baby gym. But mostly we just try to hit up as many fast food restaurants as we can in a day because that's ALL we DO!

Fall Festivities
We went out to Grandpa's school for his annual Fall Festival. What a party!!! There was a DJ, fun games, face painting, hair spraying, dance contests, a cake walk, pizza, kettle corn, and pie throwing at the principal. It doesn't get any more FUN than that!
Fueling up before hitting the carnival games.

Frankie, Scott, and Dustin
Take off your masks..oh wait!!
Dustin explaining something extremely serious and important as Frankie listens intently.
Scott thinking about all of the fun things he'll do first.
Landon and Scott getting down during the dance contest. These boys have some serious dance moves. Watch out!
Grandpa getting his groove on with the chil'ens.

Madison got to throw a pie in the Principal's (Grandpa) face. It's not every day that you get a chance to do that!! Grandpa is such a fun principal and what a great sport!!! Your elementary kiddos are lucky to have you!!

Scott said this to Kourtney and we thought it was just too adorable so we had to catch it on video. Sorry that it's sideways. Uh, look at me... I love you!

Time For A NEW Post...
...since I haven't for so long, but I misplaced our camera shortly after we got home from our trip to Anaheim to visit Dustin's grandparents.
The girl's went to Utah with my Mom for conference weekend so we loaded Scott up and took a trip to California. We hoped to get Scott a new bed so we could move him out of his crib. No such luck, the bed we wanted was out of stock, I hate that! But we did have a great time:
eating El Taco (I need to branch out, I get the same thing every time but I know what I like and I'm scared to try anything new), chatting with grandma and grandpa, strolling through Ikea, seeing Erin and her cute kiddos (who were in Anaheim to go to Disneyland), barbecuing on Sunday, SOOO good! Visiting with Julie, Lisa, and their families and Brandon, Anneke, and Cannon.
We headed to San Clemente on Saturday so Dustin could surf with Morgan. We had Pedro's tacos for lunch, did a little shopping, hung out at Mark and Julie's, had Sonny's for dinner, and then had yogurt* for dessert before heading back to Anaheim.
*seriously addicting yogurt, whether it's called Pink Berry or Red Mango or euro tart or plain tart, doesn't matter...IT'S ALL GOOD!!! It's frozen yogurt, it's divine, and I can't stop thinking about it! The weekend the kids were gone so we could go to Red Rock we went out to Town Square and they have a place called Yogurtland(they call theirs plain tart)DELICIOUS!!! Any one want to go??? Seriously, call me!
Enough about yogurt...
Here are some pictures I took. I had fun messing around with them on the computer.
