WATER POLO Masters Nationals

June 12 we traveled to Irvine to

watch Dustin compete at Nationals. We ditched two of our kids and brought just Mad and Scott.

It was beautiful in California, the weather was perfect.

I enjoyed every minute of it.

Dustin LOVES water polo and we LOVED watching him.

Can't wait til next year!!

San Clemente 2009

Spent our annual beach trip camping at San Clemente State Beach.

• Dustin surfed and had the best time.
• Soaked in the sun.
• Ate Pedro's Tacos nearly every day.
• Played beach volleyball.
• Laughed my guts out while sitting around a blazing campfire.
• Swam in the ocean.
• Scott fell off his bike and scraped his forehead.
• The girls scooted around the campground.
• Paige made an darling new friend/pen-pal.
• Saw dolphins swimming almost every day.
• Threatened by bold skunks trying to rip into our food tent.
• Got all "shwacked out" on 5-hour energy. (Thanks to Frankie)
• Shopped with the evil intent to stop in at Velvet Yogurt and get my fix.
• Hit up Velvet Yogurt twice more before we left.
• Met Precia from Orem and her adorable family. Camped around really cool people who had tons of fun kids for my kids to play with.
• Slept like a baby every night.
• Was tortured by cold showers every day except one.
• Gained 4 pounds back..not surprised.
• Ate a Pete's breakfast burrito and I'm convinced that was the 4 pounds right there...Delish!
• Enjoyed visiting with Dustin's Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Grandparents.
• Learned that Madison can set up a tent all by herself, Karley is boy crazy, Paige is undeniably a social butterfly, and Scott's territorial when it comes to his bike.
• ...and now... missing the beach and wanting to go back!

and already counting down the days until next years trip.

Working My Way Backwards

I've got to play catch up with my posts but I'll be working backwards for awhile until I've updated.
Until then... Karley's birthday list is always a treat.
Exactly one month until she hits double digits and she's already counting down the days.
Let's hope we can get through this birthday without a broken nose.

I've wanted to post but everytime I sit down at the computer, I'm just not feeling it.

I'm way backed up on posts (it's not for lack of material 'cause I've got plenty) but just can't find the inspiration. Dustin loaded some new songs on my i-pod and...
