Beautiful Easter

Here are some pictures of our Amazingly FUN Easter weekend! These are some of my favorites.

Easter morning was magical.

The Easter bunny hid the brilliantly colored eggs we had dyed the night before.

The kids got new tennis racquets and tennis balls.

Oh, and tons of delicious Easter candy, of course.

We enjoyed hard-boiled eggs for breakfast.

And hurried off to church to joyously remember the true reason we celebrate Easter.

California here we come!!

We've been trying to figure out a way to get down to California for a visit since we were there last November. It's difficult to get away so we decided we'd go down conference weekend. Dustin had Friday off so we took our sweet time traveling to Cali. We were so excited to get away for a little mini Va-cay!

After a few errands we were on our way...I was hoping for a Red Bull but all they had were Monsters. From the back seat we heard Scott say... "Dad, I want some of your Pepsi."

Dustin said, "I don't have any Pepsi."

and then Scott said, "NO Dad, that SCARY Pepsi!"

I'm pretty sure I have a picture of each of my kids when they were babies wearing these glasses at Grandma and Grandpa Great's house.

I love it! He would make an adorable nerd.

On Sunday Dustin's grandparents were having more family over since it was conference so I guess we picked a great weekend to visit.

Chloe came in and gave them a huge hug. She's so sweet!

Working for the WEEKEND!!!

That's what I've been feeling ALL day! It's takes a lot of work to go on a vacation. Why is that? Oh yeah...kids! We're going to visit Dustin's grandparents in Anaheim. Dustin has tomorrow off (I hope) so we're starting our weekend early.The sofa I have my eye on. The color I want.

This sofa is supposed to be a "sit anywhere" kind of couch so I figure it would be perfect since my monkeys climb on everything.

I have spring fever and have loads of "projects" lined up for the next little while.

The chairs I want but when I go to buy them they're out of stock and as soon as I've picked something else they have a bunch. They have white but they just don't have the same effect. They call this color red but trust me they're orange.

Trying to lose those last 10 pounds...Why, oh why is it so hard to lose that last 10 pounds!?! Which is why I won't be indulging in my favorite treat for awhile. I'm a reward person so motivations like this work for me. See you in a few weeks, oh beloved treat! I WILL earn you back!
