Maybe I shouldn't have said, "If you love me, send me a Christmas card."
Too much emotional investment cuz now after I posted about my LOVE of receiving Christmas cards I've only received 2 more...in a week.
Just imagine me going to my mailbox each day in the hopes of ONE card, just one and then walking home in the cold, bitter wind...empty-handed.
Pretty sad, huh?
If that doesn't just break your heart...
I was sure that throwing that out there would be an affirmation to the power of positive thinking (you know, shamelessly using the "secret" to my advantage) but I think all I managed to do was jinx myself. Which, believe it or not, is pretty typical.
You may be thinking, well, what about you? Have you sent out any Christmas cards this year?
...AND my answer would be a giant... YES! So, loved ones, check your mail cuz I've spent the better part of the past 3 days addressing, licking, and sticking. All for you!
I still have more to do but trust me they ARE coming.
I didn't know this about me, but, I guess Christmas cards are MY love language.
