Spring Mountain Ranch

We went to see the play 'Beauty and the Beast' at Spring Mountain Ranch. I love being there and the play was really cute also (probably the best one I've seen there.) I'm so glad my friend Jill, invited us. I would never go on my own but every time I'm there I just love it. I haven't spent much time in Red Rock but I'm planning a hike or picnic or maybe both when the weather gets a little nicer. It's just so beautiful!

Paige and Dustin enjoying dinner. This was the night of Riley's graduation and Dustin had been awake for 26 hours straight at this point. He was going to stay home and sleep but was scared for me to drive alone so he came with me... I drove!! He slept through most of the play, it was perfect!
Karley enjoying her hot dog from the concession stand.
I love packing a picnic and bringing it up to the mountains but with Riley's graduation and all the other things we had going on I was feeling lazy so my kids had a healthy dinner...hot dogs, nachos, and popcorn.
Jill and Katy, two of my favorite people! The show's about to start!
If you have the opportunity to check out a play it's a great summer time activity. My kids always love it and I have fond memories of being a teenager and helping out there with the Young Women and then getting to watch the play.

Dearest Daddy..We love you!

Thank you for being such a wonderful Dad. And for all that you do for our family. You work so hard and I know how much you sacrifice to make sure we have everything we want. I love you so much.
We made Dustin breakfast in bed. French toast (his favorite), eggs, and bacon. He got to sleep in because we all know how much Dustin loves his sleep. He didn't have to change any diapers since he usually does diaper duty on the weekends.(Which is why I love him, for all of his help) He even got an afternoon nap!
I wanted to show some of the cute things the "experts" said about their Dad.
Madison got him a Mr. Goodbar candy bar and wrapped it in cute paper and this is what she wrote on the inside of the wrapper.

This is a laminated card to hang on the fridge from Karley.
This is a letter she wrote that was wrapped inside her gift... Popcorn and a root beer and the note said, "POP POP, FIZZ FIZZ -Oh what a great Dad you izz!"
Paige made a beautiful card out of construction paper. This is the inside of the card. These days it's all about princesses and rainbows.
Paige wrote this inside of a book she gave to Dustin.
But the best gift of all is this tie that Karley made at activity days. She was so proud of how well it turned out and she told Dustin he had to wear it to church since all the other girl's dads would be wearing theirs. Of course Dustin agreed to... In case you can't read it it says- D+L Happy F Day!!
And a Happy F day it was!

Happy Father's Day, Dustin!! We love you, forever!!!

Madison's a D.A.R.E. graduate!

Madison, Officer Closi, and Emma.
It was such a nice graduation. Emma read her D.A.R.E. essay and two basketball players from UNLV spoke. Towards the end, the Fifth graders sang the D.A.R.E. song and they did such a great job. Madison learned a lot from D.A.R.E.
For example, she slapped an aerosol can right out of Karley's hand when I was doing her hair and said, "If you can't eat it, you shouldn't smell it."And when I was making posters for Primary she reminded me, "Mom, don't you dare breath that in."
She's doing her part to protect our family's brain cells!

Madison with her teacher, Mrs. Morales. They both really enjoy each others sense of humor and she's been a great teacher for Madison.
Madison, Emma, and Ms. Allred (the principal)D.A.R.E... to hold your certificate upside down!

Riley, Dustin's youngest sister, graduated from high school on Thursday! Woot! Woot!
I love this girl! She is so fun and I'm really proud of her.

Dustin loves her also and was able to be at the graduation because he worked all night. That's right! Here he is after being awake for 20 hours and the party had just started at this point!
The proud (and relieved) parents!
Tyler and Dustin celebrate Riley's graduation. Party time!!
Hold on guys!
Gotta text by BFF! LOL
Okay, Done now! Let's Party!
